Ultraviolet Weathering Tester uses fluorescent UV lamp as light source, simulate UV radiation and
condensation of the sunlight, accelerate weathering test for the materials to obtain material weathering
result.
This tester is used non-metallic materials, organic materials (such as: coatings, paints, rubber, plastic and related products), test aging degree of related products under weather change of sun, humidity, temperature, dew and others,
obtain color alteration, fading and other situations in a short time.

Light Source:
1, Using 8pcs UV fluorescent lamps with 40W power rating as light source. UV fluorescent tubes are
distributed on both sides of the machine, each side has 4pcs. It has UVA-340 and UVB-313 optional for customers' configuration. (Option one type)
2, UVA-340 lamp luminescence spectra energy is mainly concentrated in the 340nmof wavelength.
3, UVB-313 lamp luminescence spectra is mainly concentrated near the 313nm of wavelength.
4, Due to fluorescent light energy output will gradually decay over time, in order to reduce the test effect
because of light energy attenuation, when in every 1/4 of the fluorescent lifetime of eight lamps in the
chamber, a new lamp will replace an old lamp, thus UV light source is always formed by new lamp and
old lamp, to get a constant output of light energy.
5, the effective useful life of the lamp is about 500 hours (imported one is about 1600~1800 hours).
